HOOD OR ADJACENT ROOM VENTILATION
The product can distribute the heated air by means of NATURAL or FORCED CONVECTION, in the latter case using the OPTIONAL ventilation
kit - WIND AIR KIT (see separate instructions).
DURING THE INSTALLATION PHASE, IT IS NECESSARY TO CHOOSE THE TYPE OF CONVECTION
NATURAL CONVECTION:
The cover has outlets for the connection of heat-resistant pipes ("NOT supplied").
It is not recommended to install the WIND AIR KIT after having removed the knockouts
To facilitate the natural circulation of hot air, the knockouts must be removed from the lower part of the product's outer casing
- B)
FORCED CONVECTION:
By installing the OPTIONAL ventilation kit - WIND AIR KIT, it is possible to distribute the warm air in the adjacent rooms (see separate
instructions).
DO NOT REMOVE THE KNOCKOUTS
CONNECTION OF THE HEAT-RESISTANT HOSES - NOT SUPPLIED.
a)
Drill holes in the wall or existing hood to allow for the passage of the flexible hoses (fireproof NOT supplied) with the relative vents;
b)
secure the hoses to the relative collars and outlets using clamps;
c)
each hose must not be longer than 1.5 m for natural ventilation and 8 m for forced ventilation, it must be insulated with insulating
materials to avoid noise and heat dispersion;
d)
the outlets must be positioned at a height of at least 2 m from the floor, to prevent the warm air coming out from hitting people;
respect the distance of the convection openings in accordance with local construction regulations;
e)
the lengths of the ducting hoses must be the same length to avoid having different amounts of air distributed from each outlet.
