Safety precautions for the child using the child car seat
Install the child car seat in the proper
orientation suited to the child's weight.
• If it is installed in an orientation not suited
to the child' weight, its performance may be
compromised and it may not be safe.
Adjust the shoulder harness to the proper
height suited to the child's weight.
• If it is not adjusted to the height suited to the
child's weight, the performance of the child
car seat may be compromised and it may
not be safe.
Be sure to lock the buckle of the child car
seat.
• If it is not locked, the child may be thrown
out in a collision.
Do not allow the child in the child car
seat or others to press the release button
unintentionally.
Do not leave a child car seat that is not fixed
on a passenger seat in the vehicle.
• It may be a cause of injury to someone in
the vehicle in the event of a sudden stop or
collision.
Adjust the shoulder harness and the waist
harness to the proper positions and not to
be twisted and loosened.
• If not, their performance is compromised in
a case of collision.
It is also possible that the shoulder harness
or the waist harness may press against the
child's neck and may suffocate him/her by
accident.
Do not leave your child in the vehicle alone.
• A guardian must stay there when a child is
in the vehicle. Especially in summer, there
is a risk of heat sickness inside the vehicle.
It is also possible that seatbelt may press
the child's neck and may suffocate him by
accident.
Be sure to tie down or store in a trunk any
items that could hit your child.
• It may be a cause to injury of your child or
other passengers.
Be careful not to scratch the cover of the
child car seat with a loop fastener of a child's
shoes or clothes.
• If a loop fastener scratches the cover of the
child car seat, the fabric of the child car seat
may be damaged.
Take a break for your child at one-hour
intervals for example. A long drive will be a
burden on a child.
