Pump characteristic map (service function 1.C, default setting 02)
The pump characteristic map specifies how the heating pump is controlled. The
heating pump switches in such a way, that the selected pump characteristic map is
maintained.
It is sensible to change the characteristic map, if a smaller residual head is sufficient
to ensure the required heating water quantity.
To save as much energy as possible and keep any water circulation
noise to a minimum, select a low curve.
The following can be selected as pump characteristic map:
• 00: Pump curve adjustable, service function 1.d
• 01: Constant pressure high, Curve 1, Fig. 2
• 02: Constant pressure medium, Curve 2, Fig. 2
• 03: Constant pressure low, Curve 3, Fig. 2
• 04: Proportional pressure high, Curve 4, Fig. 3
• 05: Proportional pressure low, Curve 5, Fig. 3
Pump curve (service function 1.d, default setting 07)
This service function corresponds to the pump speed switch and is only enabled if 00
was selected at the pump characteristic map (service function 1.C) .

Remedy
▶ Check the charge pressure and if necessary top
up and vent the system.
▶ Check heat exchanger temperature limiter and
connecting lead for breaks; replace if necessary.
▶ Check flue gas temperature limiter and
connecting lead for breaks; replace if necessary.
▶ Check hose between flue pipe and differential
pressure switch; clean or replace if necessary.
▶ Check differential pressure switch and
connecting lead for breaks; replace if necessary
(the contact must be closed in the idle state).
▶ Check flue system. Clean or repair if necessary.
▶ Check the operating pressure of the heating
system.
▶ Vent the device.
▶ Set the pump rate or pump characteristic map
correctly and match it to the maximum output.
▶ Set heating pump to rotate; replace if necessary.
▶ Check for installed displacers.
▶ Check heat exchanger on the water side; replace
if necessary.
▶ Set the pump stages or pump characteristic
maps correctly and match these to the maximum
performance.
▶ Set the pump stages or pump characteristic
maps correctly and match these to the maximum
performance.
