2. GUARD ARM ALIGNMENT (See Fig. G)
For your convenience, the guard arm has
already been adjusted to be aligned with
the placement of the blade at the factory.
However, you may also adjust it by following
the instructions below:
(a) Loosen guard arm clamp knob (9).
(b) Loosen adjustment screw (d) under the
arm pivot.
(c) move the guard arm inward or outward
along the support arm until the blade
locates exactly between the guide bearings
without any bending of the blade.
(d) Tighten the locking knob, tighten the
adjustment screw.
OPErATION
wARNING: Always wear safety
goggles or safety glasses with side
shields when operating tools. Failure to do so
could result in objects being thrown into your
eyes causing possible serious injury.
wARNING: Do not use any attachments
or accessories not recommended by
the manufacturer. The use of attachments or
accessories not recommended can result in
serious personal injury.
wARNING: To reduce the risk of injury,
the operator should use the accessory
or attachment according to the instruction.
The tool should be operated at the speed in
accordance with pertinent factors such as:
(a) The dimensions and material of the work
piece;
(b) The size and type of the saw blade.
wARNING: operating the saw
according to the instruction, never cut
without the guard in place.
wARNING: When lifting or lowering
the guard arm, as indicated in figure
A2, make sure to avoid putting your fingers
between the gaurd arm and the support arm.
1. ON/OFF SwITch (See Fig. h)
To turn the machine on, press the on switch (2).
To turn it off, press the off switch (1).

2. VARIABLE SPEED cONTROL
(See Fig. I.1)
The variable speed control is under the work
table. Adjust the variable speed control to
increase or decrease the speed, 6 being the
highest and 1 being the lowest. Speed should
be adjusted according to material thickness
and blade specification to be used. Speed
can be adjusted during both load or no load
operation. See Chart 1 for general guidance on
speed selection. "
NOTE: Avoid prolonged use at very low
speed as this may damage your

's motor.

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you cut ceramic,
please use a low feed rate at the end of your
cut. This will help decrease cracking at the end.
We suggest you use a wooden push stick to
complete the cut in ceramic (See Fig. I.2).Push
in the middle of ceramic piece to support it.
Remember to use a vacuum to collect
dust anytime tile is being cut.
GENERAL cUTTING RULES:
(a) ALwAyS allow the blade to reach
operating speed before commencing a
cut.
(b) ALwAyS wait until the blade has
completely stopped before removing
a workpiece or off-cut from close to
the blade.
(c) ALwAyS use a sharp blade and use a
feed rate which allows the blade to
cut freely without excessive force.
(d) NEVER force a blunt blade to cut with
excessive pressure.
(e) NEVER hold or push the work with
hands in line with the blade.
(f) NEVER operate the BladeRunner
