Removing Module
WARNING
To avoid risk of personal injury, all controls must be in
OFF position before removing or installing
1. Turn controls to OFF position.
2. Remove grate and burner caps from module.
3. Lift module up and slide out while holding
by front tab.
4. After module clears orifices, remove module
from range or cooktop.

Adjusting Surface Burner Flame

Properly adjusted burner flames are clean and blue with a
distinct inner cone approximately ½ inch long.
Inner Cone
A—¼ inch to ½ inch long
1. Turn controls to OFF position.
2. Remove grate and burner caps from module.
3. Remove module according to "Removing Module"
section.
4. Locate air shutters on rear of module.

5. Adjust each air shutter using small screw driver.
• Slide air shutter until fully open if range or cooktop is
set for LP/Liquid Propane gas.
• Slide air shutter until shutter is approximately
1
/
inch open if range or cooktop is set for natural gas.

6. Replace module according to "Installing Module" section
and check for proper flame.
• If burner flame is blowing or noisy, remove module and
reduce air flow by closing shutter.
• If burner flame is yellow and does not hold its shape,
remove module and increase air flow by opening air
shutter.
7. Replace burner grate when flame is properly adjusted.
