1. Find an open, level, free of obstructions surface to set up the court.
2. Place the stakes 12 meters apart (Fig. 1).

NOTICE: For youths, beginners or any casual play the distance between stakes
can be adjusted to a shorter, more comfortable range.
NOTICE: The pegs are inteded to be used while playing outdoors. During an
indoor game, use the rubber stands with stakes mounted on the suction caps.
3. Prepare the Horseshoe pits. The pits depth should measure from 10 to 20
inches.
4. Mark a foul line 0.9 m in front of each stake (Fig. 1).
Rules
1. Each player stands behind the foul line and pitches two shoes.
2. If the player crosses the foul line when pitching the points do not count.
