CLEANING
Clean the lifejacket in mild soapy water only.
Please see pictogram 4.2 on page 4.

PACKING
A.
Lifejacket with Halkey Roberts
1. Place the lifejacket on a table.
2. Unzip cover. Both sliders must be positioned in the
right side of cover.
3. Fold up the bottom section on the right side of the
buoyancy chamber. It must have same length as the
cover.
4. Fold the inner section on the right side towards the
middle.
5. Fold the outer section on the right side towards the
middle so that the release unit is visible. Pass the
release line and handle through the hole in the cover.
IMPORTANT: The release line and handle must
protrude from the cover.
6. Start to zip cover.
7. If the lifejacket is equipped with a sprayhood, the
sprayhood is folded three times. Fold the neck like a
fan with the welding visible. Place the sprayhood into
the neck folds. Make sure the welding on the neck is
still visible.
8. Fold right corner so that the welding is on top.
Pull sprayhood carefully, so it will lay as smooth as
possible. Close zipper to middle of neckpiece.
9. Fold left corner so that the welding is on top. Pull
sprayhood carefully, so it will lay as smooth as
possible. Close zipper around neckpiece.
10. Fold up the bottom section on the left side of the
buoyancy chamber. It must have same length as cover.
11. Fold the inner section of the left side towards the
middle.
12. Fold the outer section of the left side like a fan so
that the CO
bottle is on top. Pass the release line and

handle through the hole in the cover.
IMPORTANT: The release line and handle must
protrude from the cover.
13. Close zipper. Both sides: Push zipper ends inside cover,
zipper slider must be visible under flap. Close hook/
loop fastener.
B.
Lifejacket with Hammar inflator
1. Place the lifejacket on a table.
2. Unzip cover. Both sliders must be positioned in the
right side of cover.
3. Fold up the bottom section on the right side of the
buoyancy chamber. It must have same length as cover.
4. Fold the inner section on the right side to the middle.
5. Fold the outer section on the right side to the middle
and pass the release line and handle through the hole
in the cover. The release unit must be visible.

REPLACEMENT OF CO
After use in fresh water, dry the lifejacket. If the lifejacket has
been used in salt water, it must be rinsed with fresh water and
then dried. Empty the lifejacket of air using the oral inflation
valve.
a. Unscrew the automatic holder (8) and throw away the
bobbin (7). Rinse the holder carefully in fresh water and dry
it carefully.
b. Unscrew and discard used CO
c. Place a new bobbin (7) in the inflator. Screw the automatic
holder onto the inflator.
d. The service indicator must be green.
e. If the release arm (3) has been pulled out, press it back into
position and place the indicator clip (4) over the release arm.
f. The gasket (2) under the CO
discarded. Insert a new gasket in the inflator (5). Place it
right at the bottom of the inflator.
g. Drip one drop of Locktite 222 centered on thread of CO
cylinder and install the CO
hand tighten.
