4.2 Setting the upper limit for the number of double
strokes performed (extending and retracting)
Please note
The number of double strokes is saved in the valve elec-
tronics (even if there is a power failure).
S Note that in the position "All DIL switches 3 and 4
to OFF" the saved number of strokes can be reset to
0 (procedure see 4.3).
A certain value of double strokes is assigned to the
numbers 1 to 6 on DIL switch 4.
The sum of the DIL switches set to ON corresponds to the
upper limit for the number of double strokes performed
(b).
DIL switch 7 has no function.
DIL switch 8 in the position ON actuates the diagnostic
function (it resets the diagnostic signal on the valve plug
in a diagnostic case).
If the number of strokes performed by the DNCV-... ex-
ceeds the upper limit of the number of strokes set on the
diagnostic module:
– The LED 'DIAG' on the diagnostic module will flash
(irrespective of the position of DIL switch 8).
– The diagnostic signal will be set from 24 V to 0 V
(only if DIL switch 8 is at ON).
