IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using the appliance and keep them for future reference.

Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use, before attaching or detaching any part, and before cleaning.
The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

Do not use outdoors.
•
Always position the ice cream maker on a flat stable surface.
•
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
•
Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
•
Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
•
Do not attempt to repair the appliance if it is damaged or does not work properly. Repairs must only be made by a qualified service engineer.
•
Do not puncture or heat up the inner bowl because the hollow bowl wall contains a freezer liquid and the bowl could get damaged.
•
Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands.
•
Never freeze ice cream that has been fully or partially defrosted.
•
Any ice cream that contains raw ingredients should be consumed within one week. Ice cream tastes best when fresh.
•
Ice cream that contains raw or partially cooked eggs should be given to young children, pregnant women, the elderly or people who are
•
generally unwell.
PARTS
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before use, thoroughly wash all parts that will come into contact with the ice cream in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water. Wipe the outside of the motor unit with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
OPERATION
1.
Fit the motor unit into the lid ensuring it clicks into place.
2.
Insert the spindle into the motor unit and then fit the paddle to the spindle.
3.
Place the ring on the outer bowl, ensuring the handles on the ring are positioned in the recesses of the outer bowl.
4.
Before you make ice cream, put the inner bowl in the freezer for 12 hours.
• For the most delicious ice cream, it is recommended that you refrigerate your ingredients before making ice cream.
5.
Remove the inner bowl from the freezer and place it on the outer bowl.
ATTENTION!
When you handle the inner bowl, always use a cloth to protect your hands from getting frostbite.
6.
Lower the assembled lid with power unit and paddle into the inner bowl and turn it clockwise until it locks into positon.
7.
Plug in the appliance and switch it on.
8.
Pour your mix through the filling hole into the inner bowl.
NOTE: The mix will expand by approximately 4cm. Do not overfill the inner bowl.
9. Mix your ice cream until it reaches the desired consistency which may take about 40
minutes.
• Do not let the ice cream freeze whilst the paddle is turning.
10. After your ice cream is made, turn the ice cream maker off and unplug it from the mains socket.
11. Remove finished ice cream into another container using a plastic scoop or a wooden spoon (not supplied).
• Do not use a metal scoop to avoid damage to the inside of the inner bowl.
