PROPANE CONSTRUCTION HEATER
1. STop! Read and head warnings and cautions on the side of the heater.
2. Check that the gas supply to the heater is on.
3. push in gas control knob slightly and turn clockwise
Note: knob cannot be turned from "piloT"
do not force.
4. wait five (5) minutes to clear any gas. Then smell for gas, including near the floor. if you smell gas, STop!
Follow the leak checking section in the manual. if you do not smell gas, go to next step.
5. push in the gas control knob slightly and turn counterclockwise
and depress for 5 seconds. (B)
Note: The first time that the heater is operated after connecting the gas supply, the control knob should be
depressed for at least 30 seconds. This will allow air to bleed from the gas system.
6. depress control knob while depressing the piezo ignitor button . This should cause the spark from the
piezo ignitor to light the pilot gas. Keep control knob depressed thirtry (30) seconds before releasing.
if the pilot does not light, depress the control knob and turn to the "oFF"
7. when pilot is lit, turn the knob counterclockwise
