Note: The alarm starts - even when the meter is switched off-
when the pre-set time is reached. The alarm signal sound is ac-
tive for 30 seconds, if you do not turn it off by pressing the scroll
wheel.

Displaying temperature:

You can display the current temperature in degree Celsius or de-
gree Fahrenheit. Carry out the following steps:
• Turn the scroll wheel up or down to choose between „°C" (Cel-
sius) or „°F" (Fahrenheit)
• The meter won't turn off automatically, as soon as no other
mode is selected or a test- or check strip is inserted.
Caution: This additional function requires a higher energy con-
sumption.
• Press the scroll wheel to go back to the clock mode. You can
turn off clock mode by pushing the S-button. You are now in
start up mode and can power off the meter by pushing the S-
button again.
