DISASSEMBLY – REASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
Take away the arm where the Silent
Block is housed, levering to release
it.
N.B.: Mark on the arm the position of
the Silent Block hole, to maintain the
right position during reassembly.
Insert into the internal hole of the
Silent Block the screw suitable for
the diameter of the hole, positioning
the bushes, washers and the nuts
with suitable bearing from the side of
removal (fig. 1-A).
Apply bush and washer suitable to
the diameter of the Silent Block beat
(fig.1-B).
Tighten the nut with bearing suitable
to the used threaded bar till reaching
the beat on the washer; screw with
two wrenches to start the removal
(fig.2).
N.B.: If the Silent Block is too long and
with only one bush you cannot remove
it completely, it is necessary to use a
second bush as extension, choosing it
in the kit so that it inserts perfectly to
the previously used bush (fig.3).
After the removal, take the new Silent
Block and mark the two ends basing
on the clean part of the old Silent
Block, to have the right assembly
distance (fig.4 - 5).
Reassemble following the same pro-
cedure for the disassembly, screwing
till reaching the previous mark (fig.6).
