SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Note: Do not clean the knives in the dishwasher. The dishwasher detergents and
chemicals used will attack the metal and leave stains. We therefore recommend that
you always wash the knives by hand and dry them immediately afterwards with a
soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid cutting with the knife into surfaces that could damage the knife. These include
porcelain, laminated surfaces or stainless steel.
• Since some foods leave streaks, we recommend cleaning the knife after each use.
• For safety reasons we recommend washing the knives separately. Always keep the
sharp end away from you and your hands and hold the knife by the handle.
• Never test the sharpness of a knife by sliding your finger along the blade.
• When the knives are not in use, store them in a dry place where they are protected
from extreme humidity or temperature fluctuations.
• Do not use abrasives to clean the knives, rough rags, metal polishes or steel wool is
important to maintain the appearance and quality of the blade.
