Switch the device on.
•
If the device had been connected with any other BT device before, it will re-connect to that specific
device again (as long as this device has BT activated and is located within 10 m). The connection will
be indicated by a beep. If not,
•
activate BT on your smartphone / tablet and - within the list of connectable devices - connect with
DISCOHEAD.
•
Type in "0000" if prompted to enter a password.
•
The connection attempt will be noted by a double beep if successful.
•
You can now replay your music files through the DISCOHEAD.
Making calls
You can use the multi button as indicated above for answering, ending or declining incoming calls. Hands
free is possible thanks to the integrated microphone.
•
Put in a proper SD card or USB drive after switching the device on.
•
Chose the SD or USB mode by repeatedly holding the multi button.
•
If the medium contains any readable MP3 files, they will be played automatically.
•
Navigate using the multi button.
•
Chose the radio mode by repeatedly holding the multi button.
•
Press and hold the multi button for 2 seconds to start an automatic scan for stations.
•
The DISCOHEAD automatically saves up to 50 (if found) stations (this can take a moment).
•
Use the multi button to switch between available stations.
•
Connect any external audio source (that is, typically, MP3 players, CD players, smartphones, laptop pcs
or the like) with the DISCOHEAD using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable.
•
Choose the AUX mode by repeatedly holding the multi button.
•
Use the chosen external device for the control of your music playback.
Charge the internal battery by connecting the device to a computer USB port (or a proper USB AC/DC adap-
ter). Fully charging the battery takes ~4h depending on the battery condition and charging status.
