4.4 FIRST START-UP
DESCRIPTION
During the power up phase the keyboard will light up
and at the same time emit a short beep.
If the SEL4 keyboard does not contain any user
passwords in memory, two long beeps will sound and
the keyboard lighting will start flashing slowly.
NOTES: If there is at least one user password in memory, keyboard lighting will dim after 5 seconds.
4.5 CHANGE MASTER PASSWORD
DESCRIPTION
Enter the master password and confirm it by pressing
the "F" key. A beep will be heard every 2 seconds.
Press the "F " key again and keep it pressed for more than
5 seconds until you hear a double beep every 2 seconds
that invites you to enter the new master password.
Once you have entered the new master password (8
digits long), you will need to confirm it by pressing the
key
, a short confirmation beep will be heard and the
illumination will dim after 5 seconds.
NOTES: Once you begin the process of changing your master password, you have 10 seconds to
start entering your new password.
