Installing/Replacing AAA Remote
Control Batteries
WARNING: Always dispose of used batteries properly,
including keeping them away from children. Even used cells
may cause injury.
□ To remove the battery cover, press in at the top and slide it
down and off the remote control.
□ Install batteries (D) according to the polarity indicators.
NOTE: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-
cadmium) batteries.
□ Reinstall the battery cover, making sure it is secure before
use.
□ Do not use the remote control (A) without the battery cover
installed.
NOTE: Remove the batteries for storage when the remote
control will not be used for long periods of time.

Installing the Remote Control Wall
Bracket
To mount the remote control wall bracket (B):
□ Remove the screw cover from the remote control wall
bracket (B).
□ Install the remote control wall bracket (B) in the desired
location using the two mounting screws provided (C).
□ Replace the screw cover to cover the screw heads.
Make sure the remote is mounted high
CAUTION:
enough to prevent unauthorized activation of the
shades. It should be placed at least 5 feet above the
floor so that it is inaccessible to children.
