Neutral position switching device
2.6 Slowly move the gear shift lever forwards and backwards in the gate (3rd/4th gear) until the mechanical end stop is reached

(at least 8x) and remain in the end stops for about 10 seconds.
2.7 Move the gear lever from the neutral to the left and right end stop (at least 8x) and stay there for approx. 10 seconds each
time.
2.8 Then switch back and forth several times in quick succession and fi nally hold the gear shift lever again at the respective end
stop for the prescribed time.
Repeat the switching process until no more bubbles can be seen in the return hose.
2.9 Close bleeder valves (1a + b) and bleed screws (2a + b).
2.10 Switch off the bleeder unit.
2.11 Shift through all the gears quickly (at least 10x each) to check that it is working properly and for the shift mechanism to centre
itself.
If it is not working properly, repeat the bleed process.
2.12 Remove the hose from the bleeder valves (1a + b) of the shift cylinder (gear and gate) and close with protective caps.
2.13 Correct the fl uid level in the expansion reservoir.
Observe the vehicle manufacturer's operating and warning instructions for tilting the cab.
2.14 Remove the transparent bleed hose from the vent on the vehicle (behind the front fl ap).
Full gear shift function can only be carried out during a test drive. This is the only way to assess the full
function. If the switching processes do not work properly during the test drive, the bleed process must be
repeated.
If errors persist after repeated bleeding, the components of the switching system must be checked again for
damage and function and replaced if necessary.
