Use and store the battery charger only in dry areas at room temperatures in the range of 5 - 40° C.

Detach the battery from the appliance prior to conducting any care or maintenance operation.

DANGER:
Risk of electric shock.
Never insert electrical conductors (such as screwdrivers, etc.) into power sockets.

Never expose the battery to strong direct sunlight, heat, or fire.
We recommend never leaving the ash cleaner with its battery completely discharged prior to an expected
period of disuse. In order to conserve optimum battery performance, after vacuuming operations have
been completed, always recharge the battery before putting the appliance away.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

WARNING:
• Following every intense use of the appliance, wait at least 20 minutes before recharging the battery.
• Prior to using the ash cleaner following a period of disuse of longer than one month, recharge the battery
completely.

When the battery charger is connected, its LED will light up in the following sequence: Green - Red – Green -
Red.
The LED will remain red all throughout the charging process.

When completely charged after 4.5 hours, the green LED
will switch on to show that the battery is 100% charged.

First unplug the plug from the power socket, then detach the battery connector from the ash cleaner. The
green LED will switch off.

Never leave the plug plugged into the power socket after the battery has been charged.
PREPARING THE ASH CLEANER FOR USE

We recommend charging the battery completely before using the appliance for the first time.

Remove the battery charger cable from the ash cleaner.
-
The ash cleaner will not work when the battery charger remains connected to both the power socket and the
appliance.
Position the appliance on a flat surface.
-

Remove the accessories from the drum.
-
Make sure that the HEPA filter and the pre-filter have been inserted in their housings (as indicated in Fig. 1)

Connect the steel pipe to its fitting. (fig. 2)

Before starting to clean the stove, make sure that it has stopped and is sufficiently cool.

Never vacuum burning embers.

Turn the appliance on using the ON/OFF switch located on the cover of the motor.

The MINIBAT ash cleaner has been designed for 2 suction powers:
Connect the battery charger's power cable to the
appliance's battery connector.
Note: if the appliance's main switch is used to switch it
on, it will not switch on as long as recharging is in
progress.
