Screw the corresponding adapter into the bar frame
base from below:
– For respective adapter, see previous page
Remove the following parts from the balance:
– Weighing pan
– Pan draft shield (if present)
– Pan support
– Shield disk (if present)
In the case of the Practum ® and Quintix ® models,
replace the white balance floor panel in the draft shield
with the stainless steel balance floor panel supplied�
Place the frame in the weighing chamber� The wedge-
shaped opening at the top of the frame must face the
direction from which the sample holder (sieve/glass
plummet) will be placed into the frame�
