Intended use

work, as specified in specifications.

Safety instructions
Familiarise yourself with the safety instructions governing welding work.
Make sure the welding chambers are well ventilated or that the resulting smoke and toxic gases
are removed by an extraction system.
Welding without suitable screen and eye protection can lead to severe injuries to the retina.
Always wear appropriate protective clothing during welding work, such as an welding apron or
hand guards.
Check the proper functioning of the welding helmet prior to use.
Only use original spare glass and other components.
Make sure to comply with accident prevention regulations and generally recognised safety rules.
Adhere to the technical specifications of the German industrial injury mutual insurance
organisation (VBG 7J).
Damaged glass guards must be replaced prior to use.
Never insert the filter without external cover plate, as otherwise the active filter plate can be
damaged by weld spatters.
If the filter no longer switches from light to dark or if any irregularities are noticed, the filter must
be replaced immediately.
Regularly clean the sensor, solar cells and the vision panel with usual window cleaners.
No parts of the solar cells or sensors must ever be covered during use.
Do not use the welding helmet in wet weather and always store it in a dry place.
The welding helmet is not suited for laser welding.
Please note: The welding helmet does not protect against falling objects.
