Battery Charge (Esternal Battery Charger) - Pegasolift PL13 Guía De Uso Y Mantenimiento

When the battery charge (2) has only a LED lightened it is necessary to load the
battery in the following way:
A) Disconnect the start contact (reference page 17 "Tiller head" no. 5) and the switch
disconnecting the battery (reference page 17 "Instruments" no. 1)
B) Open the battery box (3) pushing the tiller, until the back of the battery (5) from the tap
fixed in the interior of the battery box (4) and connect to the back of the battery charger
(9).
C) Control that the battery charger indicator is lightened checking the button "STOP" (7);
connect the feeding socket (6) at a socket type "SCHUKO" of 220V 10 A avoiding the
use of electric adaptors.
D) Check on the display on LED (8) that the loading process has started.
Use the button "STOP" (7) only for disconnecting the device if the operator want
interrupt the charge of the battery.
The battery charge processing is composed by the following stages:
The battery charger is activated only when the feed socket is plugged in the mains. In

this stage the green LED is lighted.
After 8 seconds begins the loading stage which has a variable duration depending on

the installed battery; during this stage the green LED is lighten.
At the end of this stage starts the process of equalization, during this stage the green
!
LED is spent and the yellow one is lightened; the equalization operation is
indispensable for the charge of battery and shouldn't be interrupted.
If after 13 hours the rectifier is still in the loading stage, there is provided an automatic
blocking with the lightening of the red LED (marked with Tmax).
