Switching the receiver ON/OFF
To switch the receiver on or off, press the pushbutton. When the re-
ceiver is ON, the diode will blink regularly (approx. ever 4 s). To
switch the receiver off, press the button until the diode lights. To sa-
ve power, the receiver will automatically turn off 60 minutes after its
last use.
Connecting the receiver to your flash unit
Use a dedicated sync lead to connect the receiver to your flash unit.
Please note that the voltage applied to the sync terminal of the flash
unit must not exceed 400 V / 0,14 A. If in doubt, inquire with the ma-
nufacturer of your flash unit for the maximum voltage that may be
applied to the sync terminal.
Mounting the transmitter on your camera
Slip the transmitter into the hot shoe of your camera. Should there
be no hot-shoe contact, the transmitter may be connected to your
camera via the sync cable supplied with the Radio Slave.
Attaching the receiver to your flash unit
Velcro strips and a case are supplied for the purpose. One possibili-
ty is to attach the receiver with the Velcro strips directly to the flash
unit, making sure not to obstruct the latter's venting slots.
Alternatively, the receiver may be attached to the tripod in its case.
Checking proper operation
To test your Multiblitz Radio Slave, proceed as follows: Insert the
batteries and switch the receiver on. Then press the test button of
the transmitter. The LEDs of transmitter and receiver will light up
briefly whenever a pulse is transmitted or received.
