Avoiding danger of fatal electric shock
The use of damaged electrofusion machines can lead to
serious injuries or death as a result of an electric shock.
• Only use the electrofusion machine if it is in perfect working
order.
• Check the electrofusion machine for damage before each
use.
• Provide mains fuse protection using a residual-current
device. Country-specific regulations must be observed in this
respect.
• Do not weld wet or water-filled pipes.
• Do not immerse the electrofusion machine in water or other
liquids. Dirty machines can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
• Protect the electrofusion machine against moisture.
