SOME OPERATIONS DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION ARE VERY DANGEROUS AND CAN CAUSE
INJURY TO PERSONS IF PERFORMED BY UNTRAINED STAFF.
TO INSTALL, ADJUST AND USE THE BALANCER, REFER TO THE USER INSTRUCTIONS.
M
AINTENANCE
The balancer's size means it is maintenance-free for its entire working life. However, if it is used under particularly harsh conditions
and requires any interventions, ensure that the drum spring unit (16) is discharged before disassembling the balancer.
If the spring is to be discharged completely for whatever reason, stop the discharge manoeuvre
as soon as the spring is effectively completely discharged (proceeding beyond this point will
damage the spring, which must then be replaced).
The spring is the only dangerous component of the balancer. It is contained in the drum (16) already lubricated for life. The spring-
drum spare part (16) is supplied complete: the spring must not be extracted for any reason.
Do not disassemble the spring unit as the operation is very dangerous.

NSPECTION
- Remove the screws (43); raise the cap (6); unwind the cable completely (17). Remove the disc (11) extract the shaft (13) using a
plastic hammer if necessary;
- Inspect the drum-spring unit (16): if the internal is broken, if the cable guide groove is damaged, it must be replaced entirely. The
spring-drum unit (16) is supplied assembled, lubricated and complete with bearings and must not be opened for any reason;
- Inspect the disc's centrifugal weights (11) (they should be free to move) and the springs (40) (they must be in perfect condition
and ensure that the centrifugal weights return). Check that the cap (6) is not damaged where the centrifugal weights act;
- The centrifugal safety disc (11) is completely assembled when supplied. The only available spare parts are the springs (40);

SSEMBLY
- Check that the stop is free to move (L);
- Lubricate the cable, wind it into the helical slots of the drum (16), paying attention to insert it into the stop (L) and proceed with
assembly;
the screw head (45) re-enters the cap (6).
- Install the balancer following the instructions given in the "balancer user instructions".

PRING
REAKAGE
- If the balancer is blocked, check that the drum spring is not completely discharged (condition that blocks the balancer as if the
spring were broken). If you are unable to charge the balancer by following the procedure described in the "Balancer adjustment"
paragraph, this means that the drum spring is probably broken.
is extremely dangerous and could lead to serious injury.
