Do not leave the lift on the hinged rail after use. Use the remote control to move
the lift to a charge point and recharge the batteries. The first stopping point is a
charge point.
If you are using the stairlift and the hinge system fails, please return to upper landing and
call for assistance. Do not attempt to disembark mid-travel, only disembark at the upper
or lower floors.
To fold the hinge manually In case of emergency: push the release button and move the
main arm at the same time.
Tip: Loading of the main arm during normal operation can cause the pinion button to
appear to be resistant to movement. Moving the main arm at the same time as pushing
the release button will reduce the pressure on the pinion and make movement easier.
