NOTES:
• IP55 rating applies when Leviton 50A plug with boot is fully connected to a Leviton 50A connector with boot.
• Leviton 50A Weather Resistant Rubber Boots are identified for either "Plug" or "Connector". Ensure that the Plug Boot is assembled to the Locking Plug and the Connector Boot
is assembled to the Locking Connector.
• Leviton 50A 3-Wire and 4-Wire Locking Plugs and Connectors must be wired to the cable before the rubber boots are installed. Refer to the installation instructions for Locking
Plugs and Connectors for wiring instructions.
TO INSTALL

1. Align rubber boot to front end of device as shown (Figure 1). NOTE: Each rubber boot has an end that is smooth and an end with a short taper and lip. Ensure that the smooth end
goes over the device by pushing from the end with the taper and lip.
2. With the outstretched palm of the hand, evenly push down boot over device until internal ribs of boot seat in grooves of plug/connector housing (Figure 2).
3. Installation is complete.
