Remove the cover
Remove the cover as shown in the illustrated steps that follow.
General wiring procedure
Use this general wiring procedure to make connections to the junction box. Refer to the sections that
follow for instrument-specific wiring information.
1. Remove 38 mm (1.5 in.) of the cable jacket from the cable. Refer to
2. Remove 5 mm (0.2 in.) of the insulation from each wire. Refer to
3. Put the cable through the cable strain relief.
4. Tighten the cable strain relief.
5. Pull carefully on the cable to make sure that the cable is held by the cable strain relief.
If it is not, replace the cable strain relief with a larger or smaller cable strain relief so that the cable
is held when the cable strain relief is tightened.
6. Loosen the cable strain relief.
7. Connect the wires to the correct terminal. Refer to
to make sure that they are securely tightened.
8. Tighten the cable strain-relief fitting.
9. Add silicone gel to the junction box (optional). Refer to
10. Install the junction box cover.
11. Connect the auxiliary cable connector to the AUX I/O port of the sampler.
