Do not use the power cable to
pull the plug from the socket.
Protect the power cable from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
Switch off the equipment and
disconnect the plug from the
socket if the power cable is
damaged. If the power cable is
damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, the cus-
tomer services of the same, or
a qualified person, in order to
avoid hazards.
Do not connect a damaged
power cable to the mains. Do
not touch a damaged power
cable when it is connected to
the mains. A damaged power
cable may result in contact with
live parts.

Residual risks

Even if properly operating and han-
dling this electric tool, some residual
risks will remain. Due to its con-
struction and build, this electric tool
may present the following hazards:
a) Cuts
b) Ear damage if working without
ear protection.
c) Eye damage if suitable eye pro-
tection is not worn.
d) Damage to your health caused
by swinging your hands and
arms when operating the appli-
ance for longer periods of time
or if the unit is not held or main-
tained properly.
Warning! During operation,
this electric tool generates
an electromagnetic field
which, under certain cir-
cumstances, may impair the
functionality of active or pas-
sive medical implants. To re-
duce the risk of serious or le-
thal injuries, we recommend
that persons with medical
implants consult their doctor
and the manufacturer of their
medical implant before oper-
ating the machine.

Assembly

Caution! Risk of injury from
rotating blades. Carry out work
on the equipment only when the
blade is switched off and sta-
tionary.
Disconnect the plug before any
work on the equipment.

Assembling the Curved Handle

Select the greatest cutting height
to help mount the bar. See chapter
„Adjusting the cutting height".
Install lower bar:
1. Place the holes on the lower
bar (5) over the screws (19) at
the right and left of the device
housing.
2. Tightly screw in the bar (5) with
a screw on each side (18) and a
star grip nut (17).
Install curved handle:
1. Tilt the bow-type handle (1) into
position.
2. Turn the clamping levers (20)
clockwise.
3. Lock the clamping levers (20)
