The appliance should be operate away from flammable materials and at a minimum distance of 70 cm from furniture, walls and ceilings.
Possible exhalation produced by combustion or by materials being worked on, can be dangerous. Always require information about
the possible toxicity. Use, if necessary, protective glasses. Check that seals (between the appliance and the gas container) are in
place and in good condition before connecting to the gas container. Do not use the appliance if it has damaged or worn seals; Do not
use an appliance which is leaking, damaged or which does not operate properly; If there is a leak on your appliance (smell of gas),
take it outside immediately into a well ventilated flame free location where the leak may be detected and stopped. If you wish to check
for leaks on your appliance do it outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water (revelgas cod. 1726). Apply solution
of soap and water or gas detector in the interspaces of the unit. If bubbles appear, it means that there is a leak and it must be repaired
before use. If you detect a leak and you cannot repair it, don't try to fix it another way, but contact the customer service.
Do not modify the appliance. It 's dangerous to bring modification on device, remove or disassemble its components or use
components which are not approved by the manufacturer, all of this causes the cancellation of warranty and manufacturer's
responsibility. Never throw an empty cartridge into fire.
USE
Carefully read the information printed on the cartridge for use before introducing it in the housing. Warning : cartridge is supplied
only with items KE2018SETS – KE2019SETS – 820AKIT460.
The cartridge must be mounted or shall be changes in a ventilated location, preferentially outside, away from any sources
of ignition, such as naked flames, pilots, electric fires and away from other people. Smoking is prohibited during assembling
operation and all operations of the unit.
MOD. KE2018 – KE2019 – 770 – 775
The appliance does not require preheating. The appliance must operate in horizontal surface or with a maximum inclination
of 10-20 ° in order to avoid a dangerous lengthening of flame caused by burning of cartridge's fuel in liquid phase.
MOD. KE2018A – KE2019A– 770A -775A
The appliance is designed to work in a horizontal position and with any inclination (360°) after a warm up for 20-30 seconds.
For long use it is recommended a maximum inclination of 60° of the device, to avoid excessive heating by refraction.
Gas cartridge assembly
This appliance shall only be used with piercing gas cartridge at direct pressure butane mod. Kemper 1120S1/S2, Plein Air PL707,
Kemper 1120 (only extre CEE) and Plein Air PL880 (only extra CEE) . It may be hazardous to attempt to fit other types of gas
containers.
1. Make sure the gas supply tap knob D is in the closed position that is clockwise rotated toward the sign «-» (Fig. 5).
2. Separate completely the base B from the top A by unscrewing it on clockwise direction (fig. 1).
3. Remove the top.
4. Remove the cartridge holder spring (fig.2).
5. Insert the cartridge in the base (fig. 3) and lock it with the cartridge holder spring (fig. 4).
6. Make sure the rubber seal of the tap C is in regular position (Fig. 5) and that it is not damaged. Do not use the appliance if the
gasket C is damaged or ruined.
7. Screw the base to the top side by turning it counterclockwise until it stops, holding it in stable and horizontal position (Fig. 6).
When replacing the cartridge repeat from step 1 after making sure that the gas cartridge is completely empty (shake to hear the noise
made by the liquid) .
The cartridge is currently perforated; when opening the valve, if there is no gas release, the cartridge should absolutely not be removed
as the cartridge is anyway punctured. In this case, contact your retailer.
MOD. 1040A – 1045A
The appliance is designed to work in a horizontal position and with any inclination (360°) after a warm up for 20-30 seconds.
For long use it is recommended a maximum inclination of 60° of the device, to avoid excessive heating by refraction.

2. Separate completely the colored base A from the top by unscrewing it on clockwise direction (fig. 7).
3. Insert the cartridge B in the colored base and make sure that it is not damaged and is accommodated in the appropriate seat
(fig. 8).
4. Make sure the rubber seal C of the tap is in regular position (Fig. 9) and that it is not damaged. Do not use the appliance if the
gasket C is damaged or ruined.
5. Screw the colored base A to the top side by turning it counterclockwise until it stops, holding it in stable and horizontal position
(Fig. 10).
6. When replacing the cartridge repeat from step 1 after making sure that the gas cartridge is completely empty.

2. Make sure the rubber seal C of the tap is in regular position (Fig. 11) and that it is not damaged. Do not use the appliance if
the gasket C is damaged or ruined.
