11.2 OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS
11.2.1 Long time delay (L)
The overload protection function has a time delay characteristic that is inverse of the fault current.
1. Default current setting selector: Ir
0.1. Setting range in P and S types: (0,4-0,5-0,6-0,7-0,8-0,9-1,0)×In
0.2. Adjustable range in N and A types: (0,4~1,0)×In
- Iu: (0,5-0,6-0,7-0,8-0,9-1,0)×In
- Ir: (0,8-0,83-0,85-0,88-0,9-0,93-0,95-0,98-1,0)×Iu
2. Time delay setting selector: tr
- The default operating time is based on the time of 6 × Ir
- Adjustable range: 0,5-1-2-4-8-12-16-20s (8 modes)
3. Relay pickup current
- When the current exceeds (1.15) × Ir, the relay starts actuating.
4. The relay operates based on the largest load current between the R/S/T/N phases.
11.2.2 Short time delay (S)
The function for ground fault (overcurrent) protection has defined time characteristic and delay time in inverse
ratio of the fault current.
1. Default current setting selector: Isd
- Adjustable range: CAT.B, 1,5-2-3-4-5-6-8-10-Off×Ir;
CAT.A, 1,5-2-3-4-5-6-8-N/A-Off)×Ir.
2. Time delay setting selector: tsd
- The default operating time is based on the time of 10 × Ir;
- Inverse time (I2t On): 0,1-0,2-0,3-0,4s;
- Defined time (I2t Off): 0,05-0,1-0,2-0,3-0,4s.
3. The relay operates based on the largest load current between the R/S/T/N phases.
4. The relay can operate with instantaneous current through ZSI
5. Cat.A type should be set to Isd = Ir × 8 for short time; if the short time is set to
-Isd=Ir×10, it does not operate normally.
