4.2 The composition of the steel component: following the measurement, if low-carbon steel
is used as a reference and the lifting capacity coefficient is fixed:
the coefficient for medium-carbon steel is 0.95;
the coefficient for high-carbon steel is 0.90;
the coefficient for low-alloy steel is 0.75,
and the coefficient for cast iron is 0.50.
5. Maintenance and safety notice
5.1 While using the permanent magnetic lifter, its surface must be kept clean and smooth at
all times as any roughness can impair its lifting capacity. After use, antirust oil must be
applied to protect the lifter.
5.2 Please read the operating instructions carefully and familiarise yourself with the contents
before using the lifter to avoid accidents. Please contact our company for further details.
5.3 Check the manual handle frequently. Ensure that the security key can be flexibly moved
and the security pin can be firmly locked.
5.4 Do not turn the handle if the magnetic lifer is not in contact with a magnetic component.
5.5 Maintenance activities must be carried out in strict accordance with these operating
instructions and by authorised technical personnel.
5.6 Modifications to the product are prohibited as this may affect its safety.
5.7 Test the capability annually and check the safety of all of the components to ensure they
are still suitable for use.
5.8 If the lifter does not work due to damage to the main body or the handle, it should be
immediately disposed of.
