4. Problem solving

4.1 Problem in operation
Problem:
If after the test code and the section length have been correctly selected,
the instrument remains in the data waiting position
Cause 1
The sensor is not connected to the display
Solution 1
Check that the optical sensor is properly connected and that the centre
green led is ON.
Cause 2
The sensor does not sense the belt vibration
Solution 2
The sensor position and/or distance from the belt is not correct.

5. Warranty

5.1 Warranty conditions

This product is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty
covers the product manufacturing defects. It does not cover damages or failures deriving
from an improper use of the product.
In case of failure and/or defect of the product, contact the local Dayco Europe sales
manager.
