If it is necessary to replace the con-
nection cable, we recommend that
this be performed by the manufacturer
or an authorised representative (e.g.
authorised workshop, customer ser-
vice, etc.).
Lay the extension cable in such a way
that it will not be caught by branches
or similar during sawing.
Use a RCD (Residual Current Device)
with a rated residual current of 30 mA
or less.
Comply carefully with maintenance,
control and service instructions in this
manual.
Damaged protective devices and parts
have to be repared or changed except
as noted otherwise in this manual.
It is recommended that a first-time
user at least practice the cutting of
logs on a saw log or frame.
Use only approved mains cables of
type H07RN-F that are not more than
75 m long and that are designed for
outdoor use. The wire cross section
of the mains cable must be at least
2x 1,0 mm
. Always roll out the cable
2
reel completely before use. Check the
mains cable for damages.
Warning! During operation, this power
tool produces an electromagnetic
field. Under certain circumstances,
this field may negatively affect ac-
tive or passive medical implants. In
order to reduce the danger of serious
or fatal injuries, we recommend that
individuals who wear medical implants
should consult their doctor and the
manufacturer of the implant before
operating the machine.
For sowing work on hillsides, always
stand in the area above the log.
To keep total control while sawing
through, reduce the pressure at the
end of the cut without loosening your
grip on the handles of the electric
chain saw. Make sure the saw chain
does not touch the ground. After fin-
ishing the cut, wait until the electric
chain saw comes to a halt before
removing it. Always shut off the en-
gine of the electric chain saw before
switching between trees.
Dirt, stones, loose bark, nails, clips and
wires must be removed from the tree.
Follow the maintenance, control and
service instructions in this manual
carefully.
Damaged safety equipment and parts
must be repaired or replaced profes-
sionally by our service centre, unless
otherwise indicated in the operating
instructions.
