IMPORTANT: Please read these instructions before attempting to light the grill.

First Use

Prior to the first use, it is important to clean your grill with heat.
This will clean the internal parts by burning off any residue and
odor from the manufacturing process. To perform this cleaning,
operate the grill for approximately 15-20 minutes at the highest
setting with the grill lid closed.
Failure to open the lid before igniting
may result in an explosive flare-up,
which can cause serious bodily

Lighting Instructions

1. Open lid.
2. Ensure that all burner control knobs are in the
" • OFF " position.
3. Turn on the gas supply.
4. Push and turn any main burner control knob to the
" Max " position while pressing the electronic
igniter button.
5. If the burner does not ignite, then immediately turn
the control knob to the " • OFF " position and
repeat step 4 several times.
6. If the ignition flame and burner will not ignite
within 5 seconds, turn the control knob to the
" • OFF " position and wait 5 minutes for the gas
to dissipate and then repeat step 4.

7. To extinguish the burner, push in the control knob
and turn clockwise to the " • OFF " position.
