RIVET NUT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PROPER INSTALLATION OF THE RIVET NUTS IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO INSURE
THAT NO DAMAGE WILL OCCUR TO THE RIVET NUTS OR TO THE TRUCK.
THEN THE TRUCK SHOULD BE TAKEN TO A DEALER
IS COMPRESSED ONLY BY PULLING ON IT, (COMPRESSING IT)
IF A BOLT IS USED TO TRY AND COMPRESS THE RIVET NUT,
REMOVING A DAMAGED RIVET NUT CAN BE EXPENSIVE AND
DAMAGE OCCURRED BY NOT FOLLOWING THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Insert the rivet nut (1) into the top (2) hex hole. Use a rivet nut installation tool and install the rivet nut

to a setting load of 18,000 N. Do not twist or torque to set, this will damage the rivet nut!

IF A RIVET NUT INSTALLATION TOOL IS NOT AVAILABLE,
FOR PROPER INSTALLATION OF THE RIVET NUTS.
PROPER INSTALLATION MEANS THAT THE RIVET NUT
WITHOUT TWISTING IT.
THE THREADS WILL BE DAMAGED.
COULD DAMAGE THE TRUCK BED.
WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
