13. Setting the Temperature Stop

Warning!
If the hot water supply temperature is above 45°C, the temperature stop should be set.
Failure to observe this instruction can result in injuries due to scalding.
The temperature stop is not an active scald protection function.
13.1 Remove the pressure cap (see
13.2 Carefully lever off the stop ring with a screwdriver and pull off the gear teeth by hand.

Important!

When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the
corresponding groove.
13.3 Put the pressure cap in place and trigger the tap.
13.4 Turn the pressure cap until the desired maximum water temperature is reached.
13.5 Slide the stop ring onto the gear teeth so that the stud on the stop ring is at the
right-hand end stop of the housing.
Important!
When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the
corresponding groove (see
13.6 Reassemble in reverse order.

14. Maintenance and care

The tap must be checked and maintained at regular intervals, depending on the
water quality and in accordance with the local conditions and rules and regulations
applicable at the site.
Maintain the following components:

Use suitable cleaning agents which do not attack the tap in a proper manner and
rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.
Removing the cover plate
For some maintenance tasks, the cover plate must be removed.
14.1 Shut off the water supply.
14.2 Trigger the tap.
14.3 Remove the small cover plate (d).
14.4 Remove the locking ring (c).
14.5 Remove the pressure cap (b) and spring (a).
14.6 Remove the screws from the bottom of the cover plate (e).
