OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fit the sliding tray onto the platform by sliding it onto the outer guide rail and pushing it onto the platform
(see Fig. 1).
2. Fit the food pusher onto the sliding tray. With some long or large foods such as a large piece of bacon or ribs,
you should cut them with a kitchen knife to be able to place them on the sliding tray.
3. Use the slice thickness control knob to set the guide plate position to the required food slice thickness (0 – 23
mm).
4. Move the safety lock button to be able to push the ON/OFF button (see Fig. 2). While holding the ON/OFF
button, you can release the safety lock button. This system works as a double switch and has been designed to
ensure safety and prevent accidents involving children.
5. Push the tray against the blade when slicing foods. Move the tray back and forth in a uniform and relaxed
manner, gently pushing the food against the guide plate (Fig. 3).
6. When finished, switch off the motor and unplug the device. Set the slice thickness control knob to the 0 position
to protect the blade and ensure safety.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Unplug the device before cleaning.
To remove the blade, loosen the centre lock screw with something such as a coin. You can wash it under running water
or in a dishwasher. Fit it back in the reverse order immediately after washing to prevent accidents.
Wash the other removable parts of the appliance with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or thinners. Do not dry the
plastic parts of the appliance on or near radiator heaters.
You can clean the device body and the platform with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other
liquid.
