2 Safety Instructions
Before starting the new device, read the following safety instructions carefully.
The producer shall not be liable for damages resulting from improper use of the device or failure to ob-
serve safety instructions.
- The device can only be used in a moderate climate.
To ensure proper ventilation, put the device on a fl at and even surface and do not place any objects
on its cover.
The cover features ventilation holes which remove heat from the device.
Do not place burning objects, e.g. candles, on the device.
Do not expose the device to dripping or splashing water, nor place any objects fi lled with water, e.g.
vases, on top of it.
In case water enters the device, immediately disconnect the power connector from the socket and
contact the service.
Do not use heat sources in the vicinity of the device, as they could cause the device to overheat.
Do not put any objects into the ventilation holes.
Never open the device! There is a risk of electric shock.
All necessary activities connected with opening the device can only be done by qualifi ed personnel.
In the following cases, disconnect the device from the power source and seek the help of a specialist:
> damage of the power cord or connector
> exposure of the device to moisture or water entering the device
> serious failure
> major external damage
