- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
- Before every use, unroll the power cord.
- Use original spare parts and accessories only.
- Do not subject to strong impacts, damage may result.
- Do not use near or under flammable materials (like
curtains), heat, cold spots and steam.
When you first turn on the unit, the grill plates may emit
some smoke. Do not worry, after few uses the smoke will
disappear. At first use, clean the parts that will be in
contact with food (ie the plates).
To avoid any risk of burns, after turning on the
appliance, do not touch the slots as they become
very hot. Handle with care fresh-cooked food.
- While the unit is running and/or after every use, touch
only handles and knobs. Once you have placed the food
on the grill plate, handle them with wooden cutlery only,
being careful not to scrape the surface of the plates.
- After every use, unplug the unit and wait for the
complete cooling of each part before cleaning.
- Do not immerse in water or other liquids. Do not leave it
under the stream of tap water. In any case, avoid water
or other liquids to slide on the cooking plates. For
cleaning, use a soft sponge, avoiding metal ones. The
grill plates can be cleaned with a cleaner for dishes.
- Place the unit on stable shelves. Leave enough space at
both sides of the grill, while unit is working.
Unplug the appliance from the main electrical outlet
and let the grill plates cooling down before touching
them to clean them. Dry them before use again.
