About this manual
Before first use, please read the instructions and familiarize yourself with the device. Always follow the
safety instructions for the proper and safe use.
Intended Use
FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner, known in other device, has been produced exclusively for stunning and
killing of any species of fish and to use at an operating voltage of 115 / 230 volts.
Improper Use
It can not in normal use and dangers of improper handling of this device, created for people. If not
used properly, the liability is extinguished, and our general approval.
CE Declaration
In accordance with EC Directive EMC Directive (2004/108/EG) and the Low Voltage Directive
(73/23/EWG), we declare compliance. The following harmonized standards were applied:

Safety Tips
For safety reasons, children under 16 years of age and persons who recognize the potential
hazards can not or are not familiar with these instructions should not use this device!
Please keep these instructions carefully! When changing owners, do you share the instructions. All
work on this unit may only be conducted in accordance with these instructions.
The combination of water and electricity can result in not connected or improper handling of serious
danger to life and limb. Operate the device only if there are no persons in the water! Before you reach
into the water, always disconnect the power from all devices in the water. Compare the electrical data
of the power supply to the label on the packaging or on the device. Make sure that the device is
secured by a residual current device with a rated fault current of 30 mA maximum. Operate the device
only to a properly installed outlet. Keep dry the plug and all connections! Lay Protect the connection,
so that damage excluded. Only use cables, equipment, adapters, extension or connecting cables with
safety approved for outdoor use. Carry or pull the unit by the cord! With a defective cable or housing
the device must not be operated! FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner: when the power cord of the unit is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service in order to avoid hazards. When the
cable is damaged the appliance should be discarded. Electrical installations must comply with
international and national regulations. Never open the casing of the device or its associated parts, if
not expressly stated in the instructions on it. Never make technical changes to the device. Only original
spare parts and accessories. Repairs carried out by authorized service centers. It is necessary to
ensure that all Chief parts (screws, terminals, etc.) are isolated and can not be touched directly! For
questions or problems please contact your own safety, an electrician!
The FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner is a robust and low maintenance device for stunning and slaughter of
battle fish. The adjustable control device allows the adjustment of current to the respective needs.
Bleeding in the tissue due to excessive current flows are prevented by regulation in the correct setting.
The use of the plate electrode guarantees, in contrast to other models with a uniform grid electrode
structure of the electric field.
It is a quick and painless death of the fish in accordance with the requirements of animal welfare and
veterinary surgeon.

The device may be used only to kill the fish. After completion of the work the unit is off. There must be
at work no physical contact with the live Poland. Defective equipment must not be opened and must be
returned to the manufacturer for repair. The device consists of safety isolating transformer and
insulation.

Electrical connection
The electrical connection must be carried out according to EVU and VDE only by authorized
personnel. All performance data are provided in the plate. All work on the device only when no current
is running!
Assembly and Installation
The FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner is fully wired. Included with the container and a control unit with
safety isolating transformer and cover. The FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner is placed in the battle space in
accordance with hygiene requirements. The control should be protected and dry. Penetrating water
destroys the safety isolating transformer. We recommend the installation of the transformer on a
pedestal or wall. The FIAP profiwork Fish Stunner should always be placed on flat bottom.
Operation
Between the two plate electrodes is built on a strong electric field. This field stuns or kills the fish.
Minimum stunning time is set to 60 seconds. It is possible to add 10 seconds of stunning time with "+"
button. "-" removes 10 seconds of stunning time.
Since the beginning, the conductivity of the water is determined, to some "blank narcotics operations"
(without fish!) are carried out. Press the "-" button as long as "E" is shown on the display. A yellow
flashing LED after pushing the "START" button shows a too low conductivity of the water. Adding table
