Box Installation shown: (see Figure 3) — (sub-floor shown)
1. Cut opening in floor as shown for box.
2. Install box with temporary cover.
3. Secure box to floor using four #8 flat head screws
(not provided).
After Box installation: (see figure 5 and 6)
4. Remove and retain four #8-32 flat head screws [1] from top four corners of
the box.
5. Remove top mounting flange [2] with temporary cover [3] from box.
6. Turn two #10 screws [4] clockwise. Tighten screws until pawl arm is secured
to underside of floor. (see Figure 4)
7. Install conduits runs as required.
8. Re-install top mounting flange [2] with temporary cover [3]. (See figure 6,
Ensure that top mounting flange [2] align with notches [5] in box.)
CAUTION: Temporary covers are intended to keep debris from entering box
after installation and are not intended to support loads. Replace with perma-
nent flange/cover immediately after installation or temporarily reinstall metal
cover [3].
9. Consult electrical device mounting plate installation instructions for wiring de-
vice installation. Use Blank Plate FB10MPBNK where no device is installed.
10. Attach Flange with Cover (see figure 7).
