hind moist surface, the wires cannot be detected accurately. In this situation use the metal detection
mode.
ATTENTION! In the case of shielded cables, the detection of live wires may prove to be ineffective.
Cables such as twisted pair cable or braided cables will not be detected.
The calibration of the detector
If the measurement indicator shows the amplitude, the orange or red LED indicator glows and a beep is
heard, even when there is no detectable objects in the selected mode, the detector must be calibrated
manually. To do this, you should remove all objects that can be detected from detector range, including
bracelets and hold the detector in the air. When the detector is turned on, press and hold the button of
desired detection mode. After the green LED indicator glows, the amplitude will be "0" and you will not
hear a beep, it indicates that the detector has been calibrated.
ATTENTION! If the confirmation automatic calibration flashes for a long time, do not operate the de-
tector due to inaccurate results. In this case, you should send back the detector to re-calibrate in the
service shop of manufacturer.
Maintenance of detector
Detector should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning agents. Do not attach any
stickers on the detector, especially those containing metal elements. This will have a negative impact
on the work of the detector. Do not remove the lining footers of instrument. In the case of wear or
damage, replace them with new ones. Before gluing the new linings you must completely remove
remnants of old ones.
