Slope scale
The slope scale on your compass cover shows you the degree
of inclination directly on the map.
1. Compare the altitude lines on the map with the
corresponding scale section on the compass cover.
2. The scale section which best fits the map indicates the
wanted angle of inclination.
For maps with scales of 1:25.000, 1:50.000 and a map distance
of 20 m true to scale in all directions (equidistance).
