BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
• Remove all labels and stickers from the appliance.
• Wash the frying basket (2) and the fry pot (6) with hot water (note: the frying basket (2) can be washed in the
dishwasher).
• Wipe the appliance thoroughly from the inside and outside with a cloth.
Warning: This fryer operates using hot air. Never fill the pot with oil or other frying agents.
PREPARATION FOR USE
• Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface (do not place the appliance on a flammable surface).
• Place the frying basket (2) in the fry pot (6).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the appliance in a dry, level place.
• Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
• Carefully pull the fry pot (6) out of the appliance body (5).
• Place the food in the frying basket (2).
• Put the fry pot back into the appliance body.
• As soon as the basket and the pot are correctly positioned in the appliance body, the power light comes on.
• To switch on the appliance, press and hold the On/Off button (A) for 3 seconds. The appliance switches on with
default settings. The temperature is set to 200 °C and the timer signals 15 min.
• Use the program selection button (B) to set the desired program (H-O). The current program always shows
alternately the pre-set time (G) and temperature (F) on the display.
• Briefly press the On/Off button (A) to confirm the program. The appliance will start working.
Note: By pressing the temperature "+" increase / "-" decrease button (C), the temperature can be controlled during
operation. By pressing the time "+" increase / "-" decrease button (D), the cooking time can be controlled during
operation.
• At the end of the program, you will hear a beep.
• To switch off the appliance, press and hold the On/Off button (A) for 3 seconds.
• Check if the food is ready.
• Remove the fry pot from the appliance and place it on a mat. Slide the plastic stop on the handle and press the
frying basket release button. Remove the basket from the pot.
Note: The appliance surfaces are hot. Always use the handle when handling the frying basket or fry pot!
TIPS
• Smaller amounts of food usually require less cooking time.
• Shaking food in the middle of the cooking time optimizes the final result and can help against uneven frying.
• Do not prepare extremely greasy food.
• When using the appliance for baking, it is necessary to use a backing form.
• The frying basket can be washed in the dishwasher.
• The "MAX" line is marked inside the fry pot. Do not continue to fill the pot with ingredients if this mark has been
reached.
