Before using Gymform® TO-
TAL ABS, you should obtain
permission from your doctor
or physiotherapist:
• If you suffer from back prob-
lems. In this case, the device
should only be used at low in-
tensity levels.
• If you suffer from a serious dis-
ease or injury not mentioned in
this section.
• If you were operated on re-
cently.
• If you are diabetic and take in-
sulin.
When putting on the belt, al-
ways remember:
• To place the large belt ONLY
on your abdomen, obliques and
lower back.
• To place the small belt ONLY
on the areas indicated below.
• Not to place the belt on your
neck, on your chest or on your
back in such a way that elec-
tricity passes through your heart
(e.g. an electrode on your chest
and another on your back), geni-
tals, scars, moles, varicose veins
or head.
• Not to place the belt on recent
scars, inflamed skin, infected
areas or areas that are suscepti-
ble to acne, thrombosis or other
vascular problems (e.g. varicose
veins), or any part of your body
with limited sensitivity.
• Do not place on areas with
injuries or limited mobility (e.g.
fractures or sprains).
• Not to place the belt directly
on metal implants. Place on the
closest muscle.
Possible Adverse Reactions
There have been isolated reports
of skin reactions caused by the
use of electro-stimulation devic-
es, including allergies, prolonged
skin redness and acne. If any of
these symptoms occur, switch
off the device and consult your
doctor.
If you have never exercised
before or have not exercised
for a long time:
Consult your general practition-
er.
Precautions:
Do not use Gymform® TOTAL
ABS if you are drowsy or while
sleeping.
Do not use Gymform® TOTAL
ABS if your body is in contact
with water.
• Keep out of reach of children.
Do not use Gymform® TOTAL
ABS in combination with any
other device that transmits elec-
trical current to your body or
with any other machine.
• Do not connect the metal snap
fasteners or electrodes to any
other object.
• Do not modify the device.
• Use only the electrodes sup-
plied by Industex.
• Do not attach two electrodes
together.
• If any of the electrodes is not
attached properly, you will notice
an itching sensation.
Note:
• The product may malfunction
as a result of electrostatic dis-
turbances. If this occurs, simply
press the RESET button (16) to
resume normal operation.
