forward and the underside facing up.

Important to consider with exterior
load
NOTE
Regularly check that the load carriers are
properly secured.
See the vehicle Owner's Manual for infor-
mation on maximum roof load.
Distribute the weight evenly across the load
carriers. Do not load at an angle.
Put the heaviest load on the bottom.
To reduce air resistance and thereby fuel
consumption and wind noise, remove the
load carriers when not in use.
The load and its positioning affect driveabi-
lity. The car's center of gravity changes
when there is a roof load. This has a negati-
ve impact on driveability. Adapt speed ac-
cordingly. For more information see the
