When the food being cooked is burned in the cooker
Leave your pressure cooker to soak for a good time before cleaning it.

Do not use any caustic cleaners, or cleaners containing chlorine.

When one of the safety devices is triggered
Turn off the source of heat and remove the cooker from it.

Allow the cooker to cool down.

Open it.
-
Check the heavy valve, the safety valve and the sealing ring and clean them.
