Installation instruction

Position the engine in a suitable place for removal of the
flywheel.

Undo the ground cable (1) first and then the screw (2)
located beneath the ground cable.
Release the starter motor screws (3) and loosen the star-
ter from the flywheel casing.
Unscrew the crank sensor holder (4). Move the sensor
holder backwards and then lift upwards. Move it to one
side.
Loosen the remaining screws (5) and nuts from the fly-
wheel casing and remove it.

Fit the locking tool to the flywheel (9995112) as
illustrated.
Undo the clutch (1) and flywheel (2). Use socket 885823
to loosen the flywheel screws.
NOTE! The flywheel is heavy. Be careful when handing
it.

Use compressed air to blow through the screw holes in
the crank and clean the surface.
IMPORTANT! Clean the end of the crank carefully.
If there is any contamination left on the surface, the
flywheel may become out of balance

Loosen the locking tool slightly and put it in its upper
position.
Position the new flywheel on the crank. Lock in place
with the locking tool.
Tighten the flywheel with new screws, diagonally and in
two steps:
Step 1
45 Nm (14.7 lbf ft)
Step 2
Angle tighten 65°

Fit a new clutch and tighten the flange screws diagonally
to a torque of 25 Nm (18.5 lbf ft).
Remove the locking tool.
Fit the flywheel casing and tighten the screws diagonally
to 50 Nm (37 lbf ft).
7.
Fit the starter motor and ground cable.
Fit the crank sensor.
NOTE! Clean the crank sensor before fitting.
