If the model of your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, they can also be
bought separately from the Technical Assistance
Service.
USE AND CARE:
- Fully extend the appliance's power cable before
each use.
- Do not cover the cooking surface or food with
aluminium foil and other similar materials.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when
not in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Store this appliance out of reach of children
and/or persons with physical, sensory or
reduced mental or lack of experience and
knowledge.
- Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
- Do not store or transport the appliance if it is
still hot.
- Never leave the appliance connected and un-
attended if is not in use. This saves energy and
prolongs the life of the appliance.
- Use only utensils appropriate to support high
temperatures.
- Turn the thermostat control to the minimum
(MIN) setting. This does not mean that the appli-
ance is switched off permanently.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all products' packaging has
been removed.
- Before using this product for the first time, it is
advisable to test it without food.
- Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
USE:
- Extend the cable completely before plugging it
in.
- Lightly grease the plates with a little butter.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the time control knob (F) and set the min-
utes you want.
- The pilot light (G) will light up
- Turn the control knob (E) to the desired position.
- The pilot light (H) will light up when the desired
temperature has been reached.
- Open the griddle, put the meat, the sandwich or
the food you want to cook on the lower cooking
plate.
- Lower the handle
- When the food is to your liking, remove it from
the appliance with the help of a wooden spatula
or similar that is resistant to heat. Do not use
utensils that could damage the non-stick coat-
ing.
- Once the selected time has elapsed, the device
will stop automatically. You will hear an acoustic
signal and the indicator lights will turn off.
USE AS OPEN GRILL (FIG.1)
- The top plate / cover is flush with the bottom
plate / base. The upper and lower plates align to
create a large cooking surface.
- With one hand on the handle, use the other
hand to press the button (J) opening 180º, and
push the handle backwards.
RELEASE THE PLATES (FIG. 2)
- The plates of this appliance can be released for
better cleaning.
- Press the plate release buttons on both sides,
you will see the plate lift up. (Fig 2.1)
- To put it back, frame the plate with the guides
and press until you hear the click (Fig 2.2.)
