6. TROUBLESHOOTING

Possible Cause
Air cannot escape, because
the pressure line is closed.
(Possible kink in the pressure hose.)
Air in suction foot.
Foot / Filter is clogged.
Water level below minimum water
level when put into operation.
Foot / Filter is clogged.
Battery is empty.
Battery temperature is outside the
permissible temperature range.
Dry-running protection has tripped.
Overtemperature of the control panel. v Let the control panel cool down
Air is in the hose.
Water has entered the battery.
There are drops of water or moisture
between the battery contacts in the
battery container.

Remedy
v Open the pressure line (e. g. shut-off
valve, delivery units).
v Wait for about max. 60 seconds until
the pump has vented; if necessary,
switch off / on several times if neces-
sary. If this does not help briefly start
the pump in the water once without
the hose.
v Clean the foot / filter.
v Submerge the pump deeper.
v Clean the foot / filter.
v Charge the battery.
v Wait until the battery temperature is
between 0 °C – + 45 °C again.
v Submerge the pump deeper.
(e. g. remove it from the sun).
v Start the pump once briefly in water
without a hose.
v Allow the battery to dry in a pro-
tected place.
v Remove the water drops / moisture
with a dry cloth.
v Contact the GARDENA Service.
v Contact the GARDENA Service.
v Put the battery completely into
the battery holder until it audibly
engages.
v Replace the battery.
v Contact the GARDENA Service.
v Connect the battery to charger
correctly.
v Clean the battery contacts (e. g. by
connecting and disconnecting the
battery several times. Replace the
battery if necessary.
